Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a warehouse associate for Whitestown, IN. You will handle physical duties, operate material-handling equipment, and ensure safety, quality, and timely shipments.

2nd Shift: 1:30pm-10:00pm with a $2.50/hr differential. Benefits include 401k match, health coverage, paid leave, tuition assistance, and vacation. Relocation not offered. Onsite work with standard safety protocols.

Qualifications

• PIV experience such as forklift, reach truck, or order picker.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Must maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including repetitive processes and heavy lifting.
• Pick, prepare and package required quantity of material for proper shipment.
• Operate Voice Directed Picking Equipment.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks and order pickers up to 24 feet.
• Safely operate and work around equipment such as forklifts and conveyors.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other groups.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
