Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Apex, NC is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift to label, package, load and unload containers, and organize products accurately and efficiently. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and label boxes based on zone and priority.
• Package items based on product size.
• Use equipment to locate box contents.
• Verify product numbers on SKU labels.
• Perform basic quantity calculations for picks.
• Arrange stock from other locations when stock is low.
• Move boxes to additional zones when complete.
• Lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Load products into containers and palletize securely.
• Unload products from containers and palletize securely.

Opportunity available for a 2nd shift Warehouse Associate in our Apex, NC distribution center to label, package, load/unload containers, and organize products accurately and efficiently. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Receive and make labels and boxes based on zone and priority
• Determine and build packaging based on product size
• Use equipment to determine location of box contents
• Verify product number to the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) label
• Use basic mathematics to determine the appropriate number of picks
• Order additional product from other locations when stock is low
• Move boxes to additional zones when complete
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds of product as needed
• Follow safety regulations
• Loading products into a container, arranging them into secured pallets or organizing them in a secure way.
• Unloading products from containers and arranging them into secured pallets.
