Job summary

TransChicago Truck Group is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the second shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11:00pm) in Shorewood, IL. The role involves receiving, storing, and organizing parts, checking in shipments, updating stock records, and fulfilling customer orders with emphasis on accuracy and timely dispatch.

You will handle stock labeling, packing slips, returns handling, and coordination with drivers. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One+ year industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in all daily incoming shipments for all vendors.
• Put away all incoming stock in bin locations and label with barcode labels.
• Check in all incoming inter-branch shipments from all branches.
• Update incoming stock and packing slips in the computer and generate picking lists/reports.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain all parts in will call and ensure paperwork accompanies the parts.
• Dispatch parts drivers to addresses on sales invoices/purchase orders.
• Process returns and pull stock for returns.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts.
