Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Associate at our Apex, NC distribution center to label, package, load/unload containers, and organize products efficiently. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

Receive and prepare labels and boxes by zone, build packaging by size, verify SKUs, and lift up to 50 lbs while following safety rules. Excellent benefits start on Day 1, plus PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and make labels and boxes based on zone and priority
• Determine and build packaging based on product size
• Use equipment to determine location of box contents
• Verify product number to the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) label
• Use basic mathematics to determine the appropriate number of picks
• Order additional product from other locations when stock is low
• Move boxes to additional zones when complete
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds of product as needed
• Follow safety regulations
• Loading products into a container, arranging them into secured pallets or organizing them in a secure way.
• Unloading products from containers and arranging them into secured pallets.
