Job summary

Apex Tool Group in Apex, NC is seeking a 1st Shift Material Handler for our distribution center. This role operates a forklift to move, load, and unload products, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, on-site.

You will work with RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System to complete transactions, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow safety procedures. We offer strong benefits starting on day one and several paid time off provisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
• Previous distribution or warehouse experience.
• Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to move in a full range of motion.

Responsibilities

• Use RF scanner to complete transactions within Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Operate a forklift or powered pallet jack to pick, move, stack, and stage product and materials.
• Use forklift or powered pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas.
• Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties, as required or directed.
• All other duties as assigned.
