Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a leading global flooring company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for the Flower Mound, TX facility on the 2nd shift (6 pm to 2 am). The role involves supporting warehouse operations, shipping, loading, and delivery of flooring products, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualified applicants should be able to operate lift trucks, perform pre-operational checks, and use RF devices to process inventory.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write in English.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team; work well with others and must show enthusiasm, initiative and pride in work.
Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and twist without restrictions.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Perform various functions in support of warehouse operation, including shipping, loading, and delivery of flooring products.
Recharge lift truck battery or replace/refuel propane tank.
Unload goods from storage areas, bin locations, or trailers.
Understand and follow instructions given by the onboard RF unit.
Correctly operate the hand-held scanning device.
Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
Follow all established standard operating procedures.
Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
