Job summary

Daniels Health in Litchfield, IL is seeking a Loader/Unloader to join our medical waste transfer station team. This is a highly physical, fast-paced role requiring daily loading and unloading, heavy lifting, and strong teamwork to keep operations moving.

You will weigh and handle regulated waste, prepare outgoing orders for transport, and maintain a clean, safe work area. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position on the 2nd shift (1 PM–9 PM), with benefits from day one.

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive or warehouse environment
• Comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting all day

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks daily, handling regulated medical waste and sharps containers
• Repeatedly lift 50–75 lb containers throughout your shift
• Push and maneuver four-wheeled carts weighing up to 200 lbs
• Weigh incoming waste using our weighbridge system
• Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing customer orders for transport
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with teammates to ensure all transports are ready on schedule

What will your job involve?
