Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Visual Inspection Manager for the 2nd shift in Swiftwater, PA to lead visual inspection operations within a regulated vaccine manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field, OR 5 years of equivalent experience in pharmaceutical operations.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing
• Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience (managing direct reports)
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and performance improvement.
• Experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions

Responsibilities

• Follows all procedures to ensure safety of self and others; participates in monthly safety meetings.
• Reports safety issues, concerns, incidents and near misses to the team leadership.
• Participates in safety walkthroughs coordinated by the department’s safety team.
• Leads Safety Meetings.
• Reviews batch records and inspection documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead visual inspection operations during 2nd shift.
• Establish clear expectations and drive accountability across the team.
• Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet throughput and quality targets.
