Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.You will be mainly accountable for:Assist in the waste management process to include scrap and trash removal andpallet distribution.Must be able to operate various lift trucks and other related equipmentKnowledge and understanding of HAZCOM/ MSDS programs and proceduresQualifications for the roleHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, use fractions, decimals, and percentages.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsAbility to work in a high noise environment that requires standing for long periods oftime, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting or pushing weights up to 50 pounds.Note: Candidates must have a work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the U.S.Why ABB?ABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
