Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Operate process equipment to convert raw materials into components or finished parts following schedules and safety guidelines.
  • Execute tasks according to workflows and ABB operating procedures, reporting non-compliance.
  • Assist in waste management including scrap removal and pallet distribution.
  • Operate lift trucks and related equipment; ensure safety and efficiency in material handling.

This position reports to:

Production Supervisor

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Jonesboro, Arkansas

This position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.

  • This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.
Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Assist in the waste management process to include scrap and trash removal and
  • pallet distribution.
  • Must be able to operate various lift trucks and other related equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of HAZCOM/ MSDS programs and procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, use fractions, decimals, and percentages.
