Job summary

The Utility Engineer at Cook Children’s Health Care System is a member of the Facilities team responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting all facility utility systems at Medical Center - Fort Worth.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of Plant Operations experience, Windows proficiency, and preferably HVAC skills. Licensure options include Texas Plumbing, Texas Electrical, Texas HVAC, or EPA 608.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant Plant Operations and general maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Windows environment.
• Strong HVAC skills/training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot all facility utility systems.
• Support coverage across 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed.
• Work as part of the Facilities team at Medical Center - Fort Worth.
