Job summary

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for the Naperville area.

The second shift runs Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Chicago Regional Office, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. A valid IL PERC guard card and a 20-hour security training certificate are required. The role focuses on observation and reporting, patrolling interior and exterior areas, and complying with post orders, site rules, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred; security industry, law enforcement, or customer service experience highly desired.
• Must have current IL PERC registration/permit/license and pass background checks and drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report activity, conduct patrols (foot, vehicular, golf cart, bicycle) at assigned locations.
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs).
• Enforce post orders, site rules, and procedures; respond to emergencies requiring security assistance.
