Job summary

Lake Air Products seeks a Turret Laser Combo Set up Operator on 1st shift to set up and operate turret, laser, and combo fabrication equipment. You will produce quality sheet metal parts per blueprints, perform tooling adjustments, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced shop.

Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting are essential. Responsibilities include verifying loads, starting machines, and observing for malfunctions, while documenting actions and collaborating with engineers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years operating turret punch press machines (LVD Strippit) in metal fabrication preferred.
• Excellent people skills with ability to partner with leadership.
• Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Load parts and verify proper surface preparation.
• Set up machines, confirm tooling and fixtures for the part.
• Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and adjust as needed.
• Perform tool changes, maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
• Document actions on production and quality forms.
• Review blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
