Job summary

Forsman Farms is seeking a Tray Washer to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and proper handling of trays in the food processing area. This role supports compliance with food safety standards and helps ensure smooth plant operations.

You will operate the tray washing equipment, remove residues, replace with clean trays, inspect for damage, and follow GMPs and PPE requirements to keep the workplace safe and efficient. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to follow sanitation and safety procedures consistently.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with ability to identify damaged or non-compliant trays.
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift and handle trays as required.

Responsibilities

• Remove residual product from trays prior to washing.
• Operate tray washer equipment to sanitize trays and clear jams as needed.
• Replace soiled trays with clean, sanitized trays to maintain workflow.
• Inspect trays for damage, wear, or defects.
• Follow sanitation procedures, food safety standards and company policies.
• Assist with organization and handling of clean trays and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following GMPs and PPE requirements.
