Job summary

WEG Electric Corp is seeking a Machine Operator - 2nd shift to contribute to transformer production. The role requires mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and readiness for on‑the‑job training. Two years of prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred, but training available.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Basic mathematics and computations required.
• Must demonstrate basic proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Read BOMs, drawings, schematics and specs to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Inspect core steel rolls for size, damage and burrs to meet specs.
• Set up stacking table using drawings and obtain materials.
• Set up and program lamination machine using data sheets and procedures.
• Monitor quality and quantities per procedures using measurement tools and records.
