Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Tool Setter for the 2nd shift in Cheshire, CT. You will set up cutting tools for MAZAK automated line Mill/Turn Machines to perform precision machining on aerospace components.

The role requires reading process sheets, installing tooling, and verifying first-run pieces while maintaining SPC. 2nd shift is Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am, with potential cross-training opportunities across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person and able to work with ITAR data.
• High School Degree or GED minimum.
• 1+ years of CNC machine set up experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reads process sheets, blueprints and sketches to determine machining.
• Installs and presets tooling in tool posts per process sheet.
• Monitors controls and verifies dimensions against process data.
