Job summary

CQ Medical is seeking a 2nd shift Thermoplastic Technician to support on-site fabrication operations. You will assist in producing, labeling, and packaging thermoplastic components used in radiation oncology devices, ensuring quality and timely delivery for patient positioning products.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and use of internal software for transfers and labeling. On-site position with full benefits and growth opportunities in a medical device environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 1-year related experience and/or training.
  • Capability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure.
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and be quality minded.

Responsibilities

  • With direction ensure accurate and timely production of products.
  • Efficiently package and label orders for shipping.
  • Adhere to work instructions for the bonding, gluing, and packaging of thermoplastic products.
  • Inspecting products for defects and reporting any issues immediately.
  • Prioritize work with a sense of urgency based on patient and provider needs, in cooperation with production planning.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Receive and transfer products through internal software system.
  • Generate labels as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures.
