Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Paint Line Associate for the 2nd shift (2:30PM-11:00PM) in Hesston, KS. The role involves metal finishing, parts handling, and ensuring painted surfaces are protected and labeled properly, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will operate hand tools and hoists, load/unload parts, and inspect components for standard compliance, contributing to a world‑class manufacturing environment and the company’s iconic brands.

Qualifications

• High School/GED Diploma is required.
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead.
• Use of hand tools: grinders, DA, sanders; use of jib cranes or hoists.

Responsibilities

• Metal finishing of materials using powered hand tools prior to delivery to customer. (Up to 100%)
• Load and unload parts by hand or with the use of a jib crane or hoist. Set up bars and hooks for hanging parts, keeping proper spacing. Unload parts from paint line using care to protect painted surfaces. Identify and label parts before stocking. (Up to 100%)
• Off-load, organize, accumulate and deliver parts. (Up to 100%)
• Inspect parts for compliance to quality standards. (Approx. 10%)
• Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific/exact objectives
