Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a machinist with setup focus.
• Experience with precision medical components and industry standards.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience operating CNC and manual machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust machinery settings as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
• Document production activities and record machine settings and part specifications.
• Train and mentor junior machinists, guiding their technical skill development.
