Job summary

SARSTEDT US in Newton, NC is seeking a Supply Room Assistant for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm, Mon-Fri). You will receive, organize, store, and issue materials, and maintain accurate inventory in a safe, clean supply room.

The role involves inspecting incoming articles, distributing supplies to production staff, moving materials between departments, and supporting monthly inspections. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; experience with Excel/AS/400 is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and reading skills to understand requisitions.
• Ability to read simple instructions and communicate with stakeholders.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Excel/Office helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or invoices.
• Distribute supplies and tools to production workers and keep records.
• Move materials between departments and maintain orderly storage.
• Maintain inventory for machine parts, print labels, and supplies.
• Assist with monthly and yearly inspections of fire extinguishers.
• Keep the supply room clean and organized; perform other duties as needed.
