Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a 2nd shift Supply Chain Operations Associate in Arlington, TX. The role is salaried non-exempt with annual pay of $50,000 to $52,500 and a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule, plus potential Saturday shifts.

Overtime opportunities and time-and-a-half are common, with flexibility for a 6‑day week when needed. Responsibilities include supplier coordination, material planning, and inventory control for the GM LLP account, with strong emphasis on on-time delivery and cost

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 1 year or more in administrative experience is preferred.
• 1 year or more in relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery for production.
• Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers and coordinate ship schedules.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate for alternative sources of material and spot buys if necessary.
• Manage truck loads for material pickup and ensure coverage at lowest cost.
• Review part buffers to cover build requirements and manage code exceptions.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO and process adjustments.
