Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead team leaders and warehouse associates in picking, packing, and auditing branch transfers and customer orders at Cranbury, NJ. The role emphasizes timely shipping, staff training, and safety.

• Implement quality audits and propose proactive solutions.
• Communicate status updates to other shift supervisors and managers.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

What you will do:

• Provide supervision toteam leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick, pack, and audit branch transfer and customer orders.
• Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
• Monitor shipment status based off priority and ensure on-time shipping requirements are met.
• Balance staffing needs while fulfilling customer orders
• Work closely with the wire department and dispatch to ensure timeliness of truck departures.
• Implement quality audits to address areas of concerns based off historic trends. Recommend proactive solutions.
• Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shiftsupervisors and managers.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

PhysicalRequirements and Work Environment:

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climbto perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.

Salary Range: $60-$70k

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3pm start until completion of 2nd shift picking OR 5pm start until completion 2nd shift loading.
