Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC in Cranbury, New Jersey is hiring for a distribution associate to support our contractor customers. You will pull product with RF guns, verify orders, and prepare shipments in a neat, accurate manner within a large warehouse environment.

We offer a full benefits package and career growth within the Sonepar family. Work hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 3:30 pm, with an hourly rate of $20, and opportunities to advance with on-the-job training.

What You Will Do

• Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to pull product from goods-to-person or from pallet areas to fulfill customer orders.
• Ensure that all customer orders are pulled efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare customer orders in a neat and orderly manner.
• Perform quality checks on orders to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.

Salary Range: $20/hr.

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 3:30pm start
