Job summary

Blueworx is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor in Broken Arrow, OK to lead daily shop-floor operations on the 4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. shift with overtime as needed. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time production while guiding a diverse team in achieving production goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating production, coaching welders and technicians, applying Lean and 5S practices, reviewing KPIs such as output and scrap, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the first shift for continuity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop-floor operations to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Oversee safety observations, enforce safety policies, and promote a safety-first culture.
• Coach welders, fabricators, painters and labor personnel; provide onboarding and feedback.
• Monitor KPIs (output, scrap, rework, labor) and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering and Quality to reduce downtime and optimize production.
• Provide clear handoffs to the second shift and ensure continuity of operations.
