Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking a Plant Supervisor for their second shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.).

This role directs production and distribution operations for the plant shift, managing production personnel, performance, and employee safety. Qualifications

• Associate's degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of products per company policies, principles, and procedures established by the Plant Manager.
• Ensures employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies, including OSHA and EPA.
• Oversees housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
• Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations.
