Job description

Job Title: 2nd Shift Supervisor

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a 2nd Shift Supervisor in Northwest Ohio. The ideal candidate has experience in building maintenance, janitorial services, or similar industries, along with strong management and communication skills. This is a part-time evening shift position.

Essential Functions

1. Develop and maintain productive relationships with Independent Contractors and in-house labor, communicating client priorities and collaborating on solutions.
2. Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance to retain and grow business.
3. Communicate daily with the Facility Services Manager regarding issues, including providing nightly recaps via email or phone.
4. Make work assignment recommendations for ICs, manage to client standards, and discharge if service levels are not met.
5. Manage inspections, customer complaints, requests, new client starts, and VIP treatments.
6. Implement City Wide policies and operational procedures.
7. Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, and proper use of tools and equipment.
8. Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services.
2. At least 3 years of management experience, including coaching, motivating, and leading teams across multiple locations.
3. Experience in building, facilities, janitorial, or similar industries is a plus.
4. Strong planning, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
7. CRM experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
