Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some computer skills required.
• Some administrative tasks experience preferred.
• Management/supervisory experience required.
• CDL preferred or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned duties per facility scope of work.
• Document and correct employee performance as appropriate.
• Train employees into specialized areas and document training.
• Follow safety guidelines and processes per OSHA and site requirements.
• Prepare permit forms and perform lock-out/tag-out of equipment.
• Track work and prepare timekeeping and shift reports.
• Conduct QA audits and implement corrective actions.
• Manage stock and orders for janitorial and supply rooms.
• Maintain a safe environment and report hazards immediately.
• Monitor security and site safety protocols.
• Conduct hiring interviews when needed.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance for motorized equipment.

Vonachen Group is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Supervisor in Louisville, KY.

The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and providing a safe working environment. This person acts as a liaison between clients and managers when the manager is not present.

Job responsibilities:

• Oversee all assigned duties/task per facility scope of work
• Encourage, redirect, correct, and document employee performance as appropriate
• Train employees into specialized areas and periodic assignments; document training
• Participate in all OSHA, Company, Customer and Site-Specific Safety Guidelines and Processes
• Prepare Confined Space Permits; initiate and confirm Lock-Out-Tag-Out of equipment
• Track all work and provide documentation as required; prepare timekeeping and End of Shift reports
• Conduct Quality Assurance audit and ensure corrective measures are implemented for all deficiencies
• Stock and maintain janitor and industrial closets, supply rooms; facilitate supply orders
• Maintain a safe work environment and immediately report any safety risks or hazards
• Monitor building security, facilitate any site-specific safety protocol
• Conduct hiring interviews as needed
• Monitor inventory and facilitate repairs to all assigned equipment and required tools.
• Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all assigned motorized equipment

Job requirements:

• Skills and Abilities
• • Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high-level of performance

  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to attend training related to industry practices and procedures
  • Works well with a diverse team
  • Must be mechanically inclined and possess a strong safety orientation
• Education and Experience
• • High school diploma or GED
  • Some computer skills are required
  • Some experience with performing administrative tasks is required
  • Management / supervisory experience required
  • Experience working with union environment preferred
  • CDL preferred (or to be obtained within 6 months of hire)

• • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Repeat the same movements

  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
