Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal welding training or apprenticeship preferred.
• AWS welding certification preferred.
• Experience with FCAW, SAW, and GMAW.
• Knowledge of different types of steel and welding safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform various welding techniques to join steel components.
• Set up welding equipment and adjust parameters (voltage, current, wire feed).
• Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and stay updated on new welding technologies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
