Job summary

Qualdoc in York, PA is seeking a Structural Steel Shop Foreman for the 2nd shift. You will lead the 2nd shift in a structural steel fabrication shop, supervise employees, oversee production activities, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires foreman or leadership experience, experience in structural steel fabrication, a high school diploma, strong English communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

Must have structural steel fabrication industry experience.
Must have foreman or leadership experience.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and support shop employees during 2nd shift.
Oversee daily fabrication and production activities.
Manage shop personnel, equipment, tools, and materials.
Maintain and update production and fabrication schedules.
Coordinate deliveries and help maintain inventory levels.
Establish and follow standard fabrication procedures.
Monitor quality control and ensure products meet customer requirements.
Identify ways to improve productivity, efficiency, employee performance, and quality.
Coordinate with project management, logistics, purchasing, other departments, and fabrication facilities to meet project schedules.
Communicate product status, quality concerns, and delivery information as needed.
