The candidate will ensure safety, implement QC procedures, and collaborate with management and other departments to optimize throughput and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have structural steel fabrication experience and strong leadership skills.
• Experience supervising welders and fitters in a shop environment.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee second-shift shop operations for welding and fabrication.
• Lead and direct welders, fitters, and other shop personnel.
• Coordinate daily welding, fitting, fabrication, and production activities.
• Assign work and balance workloads across the shop.
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and production requirements.
• Maintain standard fabrication and quality-control procedures.
• Communicate material or production needs to management and other departments.
• Review processes and identify improvements for efficiency and quality.
