Job summary

Motor Technology, Inc. is seeking a Part-time 2nd Shift Storeroom Clerk to manage receving, paperwork, and inventory in our fast-paced shop environment.

The role supports technicians by ensuring timely access to parts and accurate job write-ups, with responsibilities spanning the storeroom, deliveries, and after-hours support. The position requires a valid driver’s license, inventory know-how, strong communication, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of inventory procedures and basic computer proficiency.
• Solid communication skills and legible handwriting.
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Ability to independently complete high-quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work occasional overtime as needed.
• Preferred - forklift experience.
• Preferred - high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Write up incoming jobs, enter job information into our system, and keep the storeroom organized and inventory accurate.
• Receive and distribute parts and materials, assist technicians with storeroom needs throughout the repair process, perform inventory counts.
• Load and unload deliveries, help with customer pickups and deliveries.
• Answer after-hours customer calls, complete basic warehouse and facility tasks, and follow all required safety procedures.
