Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER ARS division is hiring a Steel Shop Team Lead for the 2nd shift in Williamsburg, VA. The role drives safety, efficiency, and output in the steel shop, coordinating with supervision and manufacturing teams to meet customer orders on time.

The position emphasizes lean processes, quality adherence, and cross-training, with a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM schedule and a pay range of $32–$34 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years manufacturing or materials processing experience.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts.
• Experience with work instructions, fork truck and measuring tape.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead the steel shop operations on the 2nd shift to meet production schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, and 5S standards.
• Coordinate with supervisor and teams to prioritize orders and optimize workflow.
• Provide direction and guidance to department staff.
• Oversee production processes and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
