Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Stacker to retrieve pallets from the stack, stack cases by product code, verify dates on cases, and assemble boxes. You will ensure accurate case counts and support the palletizing process on the production floor.

Responsibilities include stocking packing materials, following safety and food safety standards (GMP/SQF), and performing any assigned tasks by the supervisor. Rotation through all applicable positions may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to flex/grip with wrists and hands.
• -Walk, bend, squat, stand and lift 40–100 lbs repeatedly.
• -Basic math using a calculator.
• -365 Day Rehire Waiting Period.
• -3 Time Maximum Rehire Rule.

Job description

SUMMARY

The Stacker is responsible for retrieving a pallet from the stack, stacking cases on pallets according to the product code, verifying dates on cases and assembling boxes.

This position is responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Stacking product properly and maintaining accurate case counts
• Assist Palletizer in keeping all packing material needed for production stocked on production floor
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands
• Walking, bending, squatting, standing and repetitive lifting of up to 40 - 100 lbs. from floor level up to a height of 7 ft., every 30 to 60 seconds
• Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator
• 365 Day Rehire Waiting Period
• 3 Time Maximum Rehire Rule
