Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an SMT Operator I for the 2nd shift in Seymour, CT. You will operate and monitor automated SMT equipment, load PCBA jobs, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and workmanship standards in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Responsibilities include setup, line loading, and minor program editing, with a focus on material handling, quality control, and clean, compliant operation across printers, SPI systems, pick-and-place equipment, and reflow ovens.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and classify electronic component packages and markings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and tear down SMT equipment including printers, SPI, pick-and-place, and reflow.
• Load/inspect PCBA boards across printers, SPI platforms, pick-and-place, and ovens.
• Maintain line balance by coordinating with leads, material handlers, and quality inspectors.
