Job summary

Lozier Corporation is seeking a 2nd shift skilled operator in Middlebury, IN to set up and operate presses and related equipment. The role includes basic programming for laser/CNC equipment and adherence to safety and efficiency standards.

You will work Monday–Thursday on a 4x10 schedule, with a $1,000 bonus after 90 days, PTO, health benefits, and a 401(k) with company match. Training and career development are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in set-up of punch/press equipment and tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring tools (tape, caliper, protractor, micrometer).
• Basic troubleshooting skills for manufacturing equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Set up punches and presses to meet specs for maximum productivity.
• Perform basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.
• Communicate equipment/tooling issues to operators and supervisors.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation and maintain a clean work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
