Job summary

Lozier Corporation is a leading manufacturer supplying retailers with products used in stores and warehouses. The role focuses on setting up presses (punch, brake, or automatic) to meet specifications and maintain high productivity while following safety standards.

You will assist with basic laser/CNC programming and collaborate with Operators and Technicians to resolve equipment issues. The position requires readiness for a 12-hour weekend shift pattern and ongoing commitment to quality and

Qualifications

• Forklift license (preferred) and ability to obtain if needed.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience using measuring tools such as tape measure, caliper, micrometer or protractor.
• Die setup experience in brake press, stamping or injection molding processes.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, or Automatic Presses to print specifications and maximize productivity.
• Provide basic programming guidance for laser or CNC equipment.
• Communicate equipment and tooling problems to Operators, Supervisors and Technicians.
• Monitor operations to ensure safe and efficient performance; adjust as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

• 12 hour shifts Friday thru Sunday 1st shift 6:00am – 6:30pm: $22.39 with a $2.00 per hour shift premium
• $1,000 bonus after completion of 90 days of employment (subject to taxes), applicable to new hires only. First pay increase after 6 months.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Champion Lozier’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values by demonstrating the behaviors that contribute to Lozier’s success.
• Set-up Punch Presses, Brake Presses, and/or Automatic Presses to print specifications in order to obtain maximum productivity
• Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment
• Communicate problems pertaining to the set-up of equipment and tooling to Machine Operators, Supervisors and Technicians
• Follow-up with Machine Operators to ensure operation is running safely and efficiently
• Work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment
• Participate in continuous improvement projects

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Currently have or be able to obtain forklift license
• Able to read and understand blueprints
• Working knowledge of measuring tools such as a tape measure, caliper, protractor and micrometer

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds consistently throughout the shift
