Qualifications

• Must have good attention to detail to ensure that glass produced is in accordance with specifications.
• Completion of primary school education with six months of experience or related training and six months experience. High school diploma

Responsibilities

• Operates circular saw to cut aluminum extrusion.
• Assembles corner keys and aluminum extrusion to make spacers/frames.
• Keeps production records.
• Inspects the glass and stacks spacers/frames.
• Operates the sealant pump to seal IG units.
• Uses razor blade to cut apart sealed units that have been stacked one on top of the other.
• Operates caliper to measure units and records measurements.
• Inspects/packs units in a wooden crate.
• Works with Production Supervisor to resolve problems in the area.
• Maintain cleanliness of work cell.
