SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Mechanic Assistant role is designed to support the lead mechanic in the maintenance, repair, and smooth operation of vehicles and machinery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sharpen mower blades
• Pick up parts and supplies
• Light routine repair/maintenance such as oil changes and tire repair/replacement
• Clean and wash equipment and vehicles inside and out
• Fueling mowers and trucks
• Safety / Security awareness and support with building and grounds maintenance
• Shop clean up
• Perform other duties as assigned
