Job summary

Garpiel Group is seeking a Shop Assistant for the 3pm–12am shift to support the lead mechanic in vehicle and machinery maintenance and operations. You will assist with routine tasks including servicing, cleaning, fueling, and parts handling in a shop setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability, with preferred knowledge of lawn and landscaping equipment and a valid driver’s license. Ability to work outdoors and indoors is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lawn and landscaping equipment is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sharpen mower blades.
• Pick up parts and supplies.
• Perform light routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire repair/replacement.
• Clean and wash equipment and vehicles inside and out.
• Fuel mowers and trucks.
• Support with safety, security and grounds maintenance.
