Job summary

Caviness Beef Packers in Amarillo is seeking a 2nd shift worker to support shipping and order fulfillment in a cold environment. Duties include paperwork, wrapping, loading, and scanning products, with emphasis on accurate order picking and safety protocols.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack experience, PPE, and a strong work history. Shift runs 3:30pm–12:00am, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must wear PPE.
• Prior shipping experience a plus.
• Forklift/pallet jack experience required.
• Good work history.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift hours, Monday through Friday beginning at 3:30pm to 12:00am and occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to stand for entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platforms.
• Tolerate cold temperatures of 45 degrees or less.
• Palletizing boxed and scan product to complete customer orders.
• Must be attentive to the accuracy of all orders being pulled.
• Handle general paperwork such as picking lists, packing lists, bills of landing, seals, etc.
• Follow all food and safety protocols.
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs.
