Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the Mundelein, IL facility. This on-site role features a 2nd shift schedule with training on 1st shift, and a $22.66/hour base pay plus a $2.50 second-shift differential.

You will receive, organize, and ship materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and operate equipment including forklifts. Training will occur on 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and/or obtain required certification.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use handheld RF scanners or similar warehouse devices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and materials against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Prepare, process, and organize shipping and receiving documentation to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate staging, movement, and storage of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Load and unload trucks and secure materials for transport.
• Use warehouse systems to record receipts, shipments, and inventory movements.
