Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Farmington Hills, MI facility to support accurate movement of materials through shipping, receiving, inspection, storage, and delivery while upholding safety and quality.

Location is Farmington Hills, Michigan, on-site with multiple shifts: 1st (7:00-15:00), 2nd (15:00-23:00), 3rd (23:00-07:00). Pay ranges $19-$21/hour, with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Full-time, hourly work with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mathematical and clerical skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required by the role.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and load orders to complete shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, move, weigh, stock, pack, and prepare inbound and outbound warehouse materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and warehouse machinery as needed.
• Use JDE, RFS, RF technology, and related systems to manage inventory and product shipments.
• Deliver raw materials to work centers and support inventory counts and accuracy.
• Inspect products for damage, report discrepancies, and ensure proper labeling, packaging, documentation, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain an organized work area in accordance with 5S standards and follow safety, environmental, and quality policies.
