Job summary

Amentum is hiring for Receiving - 2nd Shift in Ogden, UT. You will manage receipt and shipping of material, ensuring items meet customer requirements and accuracy in data entry.

Responsibilities include reading specs, using measurement tools and blueprints under guidance, labeling, and basic reporting. Must obtain MHE license within 30 days and complete inert certification; travel and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months general work experience demonstrating ability to perform requirements. High school diploma or GED required. May substitute experience for education. Must obtain license to use MHE within 30 days. Must complete Inert Certification training. Travel may be required. Security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material per regulations.
• Perform visual examinations or measurements under mentoring.
• Read specifications and photographs as required in DLA contracts.
• Use blueprints, schematics, under mentoring.
• Load material on/off skids, pallets, stands.
• Prepare labels as required.
• Prepare basic reports.
• Operate tools and equipment for receiving/shipping.
• Input data into automated systems; may operate MHE with license.
• Count, weigh, tag materials; perform maintenance adjustments.
