Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Member for the Elyria, OH facility on 2nd shift (M-F, 3pm-11pm). The role pays $22.66/hour base plus a $1.25 shift differential, totaling $23.91/hour.

You will handle shipments, receiving, reports, and warehouse organization while operating forklifts and light trucks. Ideal candidates have 2+ years forklift experience, basic inventory software skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ forklift experience required.
• Basic computer skills for inventory transactions.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all shipments via any type carrier, including all necessary paperwork.
• Receives and tallies all incoming shipments.
• Prepares all receiving reports and distributes copies of the receiving report to interested parties.
• Stores material in proper location after checking against packing slip, or order requisition.
• Maintains storage of all material in warehouse.
• Operate various trucks to pick up and deliver merchandise at specified locations.
• Knowledge and use of UPS computer and Receiving computer.
