Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Shipping Clerk to ensure safe movement of finished goods from production to the warehouse and on to customers. This role requires precision, a safety mindset, and 100% inventory accuracy in a high-volume environment.

The position involves operating the Aisle Master forklift, using scanners to track stock, and picking/staging orders to meet load maps. Work is 2nd shift (2 PM–10 PM, Mon–Fri) with potential overtime based on demand.

Qualifications

• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift for extended periods
• Basic computer literacy for generating shipping documents and inventory scans
• Strong verbal and written communication to coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Willingness to work 2nd Shift (2 PM - 10 PM, Mon-Fri); overtime/weekend work may be required
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus and training is provided

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized equipment, including the Aisle Master forklift, to unload finished goods and place them within the warehouse.
• Use scanning technology to track inventory items and ensure real-time accuracy of stock levels.
• Accurately pick customer releases and stage products per load maps and customer requirements.
• Verify product labeling for 100% accuracy and generate Bills of Lading (BOL) for compliance.
• Protect products during transit by applying protective sheets, pads, and banding per engineering specs.
• Maintain detailed logs of items loaded/unloaded, timestamps, and equipment inspections.
