Join to apply for the 2nd Shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk role at Hanover Foods Corporation.

Hanover Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our 2nd shift freezer team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipments and receiving, and ensuring that documentation is handled correctly and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform BPCS and audit functions to ensure accurate tracking of storage inventories, shipments, receivings, and miscellaneous transactions and cycle counts.
• Greet and check in/out drivers, assign doors.
• Verify incoming shipments against invoices.
• Print and review bill of lading.
• Maintain accurate inventory files and records.
• Support monthly and physical inventory processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety protocols, including GMPs, HACCP, and plant security standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of inventory procedures and the BPCS system.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Consistent and reliable attendance record.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand, and walk throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in inventory control or shipping/receiving.
• Experience with Kuebix or similar logistics systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Work Environment:

• Freezer environment with exposure to extreme cold on some occasions.
• Regular lifting, reaching, and handling of materials.
• Position is classified as Safety Sensitive.
