Job summary

Perdue Foods is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Laborer for our Cook facility in Perry, Georgia. The role supports loading, scanning, lift operations, and yard activities to ensure products are handled accurately and delivered on time.

You will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment onsite during the 2nd shift. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and operational excellence, with expectations to learn SAP/CFS for inventory monitoring and daily transfers.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, communication, analytical, and math skills.
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn SAP/CFS to monitor and transfer daily inventory.

Responsibilities

• Load products and ensure they meet Perdue processes and job requirements for quality.
• Verify drain weights as directed by management.
• Deliver meat for production lines in a timely and acceptable manner.
• Work safely and adhere to all safety requirements with PPE.
• Prevent and report unsafe acts and conditions.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
