Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Laborer for our Cook facility in Perry, Georgia. You will support loading, scanning, pullbacks, lift operations, yard jockey activities, and stack-off processes to ensure products are handled accurately and delivered on time.

The role emphasizes a clean, safe, and organized work environment and operates on-site at Perry. The position is scheduled for 2nd shift and requires a dependable, safety-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing, communication, analytical, and math skills.
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn SAP/CFS to monitor and transfer daily inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are loaded and meet Perdue processes, product standards, and job requirements to maintain a consistent level of quality.
• Ensure all drain weights are completed as directed by management.
• Ensure meat needed for production lines is delivered in a timely and acceptable manner.
• Work safely and adhere to all safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Prevent and report unsafe acts and conditions.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
