As a Line Lead on the 2nd shift, you’ll oversee daily operations, support the department supervisor, and help guide and train team members to ensure safe, efficient, and on-schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work at various stations along the production lines processing poultry food products.
• Adhere to safety requirements including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures, and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Ensure that the qualities of the products are met according to the product specifications of QA and USDA.
• Ensure that all equipment throughout the departments is running smoothly.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Lead and train line team members.
• Monitor production lines for efficiency and quality.
• Implement safety protocols and report incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Control labor and material costs.
