Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 10:30 pm) to support the automotive components supply chain. The role emphasizes preparing shipments for external operations, maintaining daily shipping schedules, and logging all outgoing and incoming items with accuracy.

Candidates should have manufacturing experience, a couple of years in a shipping clerk role, strong computer skills, and the ability to obtain a Power Industrial Truck permit.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prefer minimum of two years in a Shipping Clerk role.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain a Power Industrial Truck operator permit.
• Must have strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange for shipment of product for external operations.
• Complete and update daily shipping schedule.
• Complete shipping logs and verify items on receiving logs.
• Arrange for shipment as specified by customer or “best way”
• Troubleshoot and communicate with carrier representatives as situations arise.
• Provide shipment tracking to internal and external customers as needed.
• Enter all necessary shipping information into company software.
• Record and report shortages or damaged goods.
• Periodically perform physical inventory of materials.
